… Or, how I punctured my oil pan.

A photo essay.

Here I am at Renegade, squinting and trying to think of something funny to say.

Enter…

The postcard machine was a huge hit.

I bought some loot.

Food was devoured.

My car got beat up.
What?!
The Cliff’s Notes version= I jumped a curb after realizing I had missed my entrance to the Skyway, and thought I cleared the curb. I didn’t. So take that as a lesson, kids. The curb is always higher than you think it is.
Besides $600 car repairs, Chicago was great. Fabulous weather, fabulous food, fabulous crafting, fabulous company. The Bongo Room was delicious as always, Bin has got to be my favorite new place in Chicago, Renegade seemed to have a good turn out… Le sigh, you really can’t ask for a better day trip, can you? Well, besides asking for one without leaking oil from your engine…!
sounds like a fun trip, minus the oil. :/
so many vendors! i wouldn’t know what to do.
cortney and i busted a rental car’s oil pan in iceland once. that sucked. and was $1200. don’t damage a car in a foreign country, even if they speak perfect english, they still rip you off. sigh.
cars. wasting money. sucky.
like the new journal, by the way!
Thanks, ma’am! So glad to hang out with you at the CAID on Saturday.
ah, yes, it was kind of fun, in all its weirdness. even though i wore plastic shoes. sigh.
