…or, why Valentine’s Day 2008 rocked my socks

Ahem.

Per tradition, I received another fabulous Valentine’s Day gift from my parents tonight- a KitchenAid hand mixer in green apple! Ok, ok. So I called my mom a few weeks back and told her I was dying for this. But the point is she listened and, more importantly, presented it to me for Valentine’s Day.

Thanks, Jennifer! It was a random sale on QVC and they had all these colors to choose from that you couldn’t get on Kitchen Aid’s web site!

Apple green is such a great color for an appliance. I have the ‘oldest’ hand mixer from General Electric. It is almost an antique, the color is butter yellow and it smells when I use it (electric motor death smell). Time to hint to my hubby about a new one I think.
